When I woke up and opened the blinds this morning, I discovered that a market was setting up in our street! When we ventured out to check it out, we discovered that the market covered most of Bourgoin!
Unfortunately, it was mainly tat, but this meant that I was able to pick up a bubble wand for Hazel, which she finds fascinating (pics of that to follow!) There was also a few animals, which she enjoyed looking at too.
The rooster in the below picture had amazing curly feathers.
For the photograph of these chooks, the cranky vendor wanted 2 euros... I scoffed in his general direction! Je ne suis pas un touriste!
After a quick web search, I have concluded that these are alpacas... Right Gargie?







Pic of the camelids - the one in front looks like a suri alpaca, but the 3 at the back are young llamas :) You can tell by their banana ears!
ReplyDeleteBollocks! I thought the three might be llamas but I decided they were way too short! I didn't think they might be baby llamas. Stoopid!
