Hugo's Christening

Great weekend in Jouy-le-Potier for Hugo's christening.  

Hugo's Mum did a fabulous job with the decoration of the local hall.  The theme was 'the farm', and the place settings were mini-tractors.   

The man of the hour approved!

Hugo even had a croque en bouche in the shape of a car.  Almost too cute to eat... almost!

Hazel had a great time at the party.

And made new friends (and coveted their jewellery).

She was really well behaved all weekend, even when on the sauce.

All round lovely weekend!

Sitting!!!

Hazel mastered sitting this week.

So we graduated to a bath seat.  So much more fun than a bath hammock! 

Channel surfing etiquette

Daddy and Hazel were watching a bit of tennis this afternoon and generally having a pretty good time...

...until...

Daddy decided to change the channel... 

without even asking if Hazel was still watching the tennis...

This made Hazel a bit cranky with Daddy... 

...and even after making her feelings known, he still wouldn't hand back the remote!

So when she did finally get it back, she put the tennis back on, and worked on permanently disabling the remote control.  

Take that Daddy!

Mamie and Papy's Easter visit

Great Easter weekend here in Bourgoin.

Hazel had a fun time hanging with her grandparents.  There was plenty of reciprocal smiling, laughing and babbling!

Activities included, jumperoo, some story time, shoe shopping (Hazel's first pair of leather shoes!), and roast lamb (not for Hazel this time!).

A good time was had by all!!
