Sweet Potato and Orange

New dish for dinner tonight - sweet potato and orange.
Whilst Hazel did finish all of it, every mouthful was hilarious.
Not sure that she's too fond of tart flavours!

Baby Vampire

She looks innocent enough.
Sweet even...

And then, she flashes the FANGS!
I wanta-suck-your-blood!

The front two are looking like they'll appear any day now.

Must buy her her a cape and some plastic bats...

One little monkey jumping on the bed....

New skill!  Pulling herself up to standing in her cot.
Very not cool when trying to fall asleep...
...but dead cute for when I go to pick her up from her nap!

Look out world, she's on the move!

After a couple of weeks of rocking back and forth, today she has found first gear!

Park Life

Lovely afternoon at the park with Mia and her Mum.
Looking forward to more warm days like this one!

Falling...

That wasn't flying.  That was falling with style!

NB:  No Hazels were injured in the making of this film.  There were no tears. They build 'em tough here!

New Trick

This week, together with two new teeth, Hazel has a new trick, standing!
Unfortunately, this afternoon she discovered that if she goes rigid as you try to sit her down, well, she doesn't bend...
I can hear Gargie cackling 'Suffer in your jocks'.

May Day Markets

When I woke up and opened the blinds this morning, I discovered that a market was setting up in our street!  When we ventured out to check it out, we discovered that the market covered most of Bourgoin!

Unfortunately, it was mainly tat, but this meant that I was able to pick up a bubble wand for Hazel, which she finds fascinating (pics of that to follow!)  There was also a few animals, which she enjoyed looking at too.

The rooster in the below picture had amazing curly feathers.

For the photograph of these chooks, the cranky vendor wanted 2 euros... I scoffed in his general direction! Je ne suis pas un touriste!

After a quick web search, I have concluded that these are alpacas... Right Gargie?
