Mother's Day

Mamie and Papy came to visit for Mother's Day.
Hazel had a great time with them, as usual.  Here are some snaps of her reading to her Mamie in the Sunday afternoon sun, complete with new hat and sunnies.

Chantal introduced Rhys to bottle feeding, as we beginning preparing him for a couple of days at creche.  By day 3 of learning about the bottle, I don't think either of them were taking it seriously!!  :-b

Rhys also enjoyed lots of cuddles and giggles with his Papy.

Potting up!

With the move coming, we've not gone large on the planting this year (although big plans for chook and a veggie patch next year).   But as I thought the Nut would enjoy the activity, this weekend we went to the nursery and bought a bag of soil, some herbs, and a pack of mixed pink flowers seeds.

There was quite a lot of manhandling, and who knows how far down the seeds ended up with all the "sprinkling' and "mixing", but she had a good time!

Grrr, roar

Medieval festival in town today - and what is more medieval than having your face painted like a tiger, eh?

Fun at the park

Lovely afternoon at park.
Before you ask, it is exactly capri leggings and puffer jacket weather.
