Jumperooooooo!

We assembled Hazel's jumperoo today, and wow, but the girl is a fan of the bounce!

Had to put the camera on sports mode to get the shots.  She loves the latest addition to the lounge room collection of toys.  Hazel thinks we're going to need a bigger lounge room soon though...

Two Front Teeth

An afternoon walk to stave off the cheese sweats...

This afternoon we went for a walk along the canal after lunch.  It was very necessary, as we introduced Al to the cheese, meat, potato bonanza that is a raclette, and needed to help digestion along a little, lest we all pass out asleep on the couch!

Along the way we saw a heron, with his catch of the day.

Uncle Al has landed!!

Uncle Al has arrived, and has had the obligatory cuddle and photo shoot.

He has already threatened to smuggle her home, so we'll be checking his luggage before allowing him to leave.

Creche

Hazel, now able to fall asleep without rocking (thank you Dr Ferber!), and taking a bottle without protest, is spending more time at the creche.  By next week, she should be ready to do a full day.  She will be spending Wednesdays at the creche, to enable Mummy to get some stuff done, and to teach a few hours.

Luckily, Hazel adores creche.  She loves the other kids, and Christine, Jenny and Blandine, who take very good care of her.  Every month, they bring the camera out - and along with the bill, they hand out CDs of pics of the kids.   Here are the best of the January shots.  Not Anne Geddes, but still Hazel looks like she is having a fun time with her buddy.

Lunch with the Perrots

We had a lovely lunch with the Perrot family today, Vicki made us chilli con carne.

The girls were in good form - but it took about 100 shots to have them both laughing at Vicki singing Agadoo!

Clearly, what Mia finds funny...

...is not necessary the same thing as what Hazel finds funny.

Sleepy

This morning, I was in a bit of a rush to get out of the house.

Sleeping Beauty had other ideas.

I opened the blinds, I banged, I crashed...

...but still her eyes remained closed.

If only the same had been true of the rest of the night!!!

Rolling.... nearly

Hazel is getting more mobile!  I put her on her mat facing one way, and find she's gone round 180 degrees next time I look.  Yesterday, she got close to rolling from her back to her front, so that she could gum the crunchy leaf!

 

Vital Stats

Hazel had her 4 month check up today.  Weighing in at 7.46kgs, and measuring 66.5cms, she's still a 95 percentile girl.
